Jeanne Detallante from France explores the archetypes of fairytales, myths and fashion, while creating fascinating dream worlds. Sometimes she paints decadent, hyper-realistic fashion vamps, other times surrealistic, timeless figures. She illustrates and creates animations, fashion patterns, murals and product designs. Her unique, instantly recognizable style, is dazzling and grotesque.
Jeanne started her career as a fashion illustrator in 2000. She painted a mural in a Parisian bar and was discovered by fashion house Prada. They asked her to work for the Prada and Miu Miu’s Spring / Summer 2014 collection. She designed colorful ‘mask’ illustrations that were also used for the collection. Since then, Prada is one of her regular and favorite clients.
Jeanne’s work has appeared in Vogue Paris, Italia and Japan, The New Yorker and GQ. For Vogue she created an online mood board with her inspirational images. jeannedetallante.com
